The area Masalembo Island attractive often accident ships, because often accident ships in the maritim area near Masalembo Island many people to mention mistake area. According to logika no mistake in area Masalembo Island, In the true area Masalembo Island influence meet betwen current from Jawa sea, Flores sea, Bali Strait and Makasar Strait is the mention Masalembo Triangle. And influence weather monson. Therefore Masalembo Island the name “Segitiga Bermuda Indonesia”

Daerah sekitar Pulau Masalembo merupakan daerah yang sering terjadi kecelakaan kapal, karena seringnya terjadi kecelakaan kapal di daerah tersebut banyak orang mengatakan bahwa daerah tersebut angker (misterius). Secara logika bahwa daerah tersebut sering terjadi kecelakaan kapal adalah karena faktor alami bahwa daerah tersebut merupakan daerah pertemuan antara arus dari L. Jawa, Selat Bali, L. Flores dan Selat Makasar, maka daerah Masalembo disebut “Segitiga Bermuda Indonesia”.
