PENGARUH KETRAMPILAN, KONSENTRASI DAN KONDISI JALAN TERHADAP KESELAMATAN BERKENDARA DI JALAN MAJAPAHIT SEMARANG

Driving safety is influenced by various factors such as skill riders, driver concentration and road conditions. Threeof them have an important role in driving safety. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence of motorcyclist's behavior in skill, concentration and road condition in Majapahit Semarang either partially or simultaneously. The sample in this research is 100 respondents who are motorcycle riders on Majapahit road Semarang. sampling using quota samples. The analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression, Based on the empirical facts show that the variable concentration of riders (X2) t count of 2.947 and regression coefficient of 0.250 in affecting the safety of riders. Where the
driver concentration includes the driver is not sleepy, does not interact with other riders, do not use the communication tool affect the driving safety. Rider skill (X1) t count 2,854 and regression coefficient 0,236 in influence of rider safety. Where the rider's skill variables include knowing all the functions of the vehicle section, using safety equipment while driving, and never following the driving skill test affecting the driving safety of road condition variable (X3) tcount of 2.602 and regression coefficient of 0.112 in influencing the safety of the rider. Where road condition variables include lack of street lighting, damaged roads, and without road signs and signs affecting the safety of driving. Thus the results showed the variable of skill riders, driver concentration, and road conditions have a positive and significant impact on driving safety.

Keselamatan berkendara dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya adalah ketrampilan pengendara, konsentrasi pengendara dan kondisi jalan. Ketiganyamempunyai peranan penting dalam mempengaruhi keselamatan berkendara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh perilaku pengendara sepeda motor dalam ketrampilan, konsentrasi maupun dikondisi jalan di ruas jalan Majapahit Semarang baik secara parsial
maupun secara simultan. Sampel pada penelitian ini 100 responden yang merupakan pengendara sepeda motor di jalan Majapahit Semarang.sampling dengan menggunakan sampel kuota.Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier Berganda. Berdasarkan fakta empirik menunjukkan bahwavariabel konsentrasi pengendara (X2) thitung sebesar 2,947 dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,250dalam mempengaruhi keselamatan pengendara. Dimana konsentrasi pengendara meliputi pengendara tidak mengantuk, tidak berinteraksi dengan pengendara lain, tidak menggunakan alat komunikasi mempengaruhi keselamatan
berkendara. keterampilan pengendara (X1) thitung sebesar 2,854 dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,236dalam mempengaruhi keselamatan pengendara. Dimana variabel keterampilan pengendara meliputi mengetahui semua fungsi bagian kendaraan, menggunakan peralatan keamanan saat berkendara, dan pernah mengikuti test keterampilan berkendara mempengaruhi keselamatan berkendara variabel kondisi jalan (X3) thitung sebesar 2,602 dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,112 dalam mempengaruhi keselamatan pengendara. Dimana variabel kondisi jalan meliputi kurangnya penerangan jalan, jalan yang rusak, dan tanpa rambu dan marka jalan mempengaruhi keselamatan berkendara. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian menunjukan variabel keterampilan pengendara, konsentrasi pengendara, dan kondisi jalan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keselamatan berkendara.
