PENGARUH KOMITMEN TERHADAP KINERJA DOSEN POLITEKNIK ILMU PELAYARAN (PIP) SEMARANG

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know and analyze the influence of commitment to the performance of the lecturers of Polytechnic of Merchant Marine Semarang. The population sampling for this research was all lecturers at Polytechnic of Merchant Marine Semarang whom had “jabatan fungsional” or functional positions. The data sampling was using census to all 71 lecturers at Polytechnic of Merchant Marine Semarang. The data source used primary secondary data and used linear regression to analyze it. The result of the analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence between the commitment and the performance.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh komitmen terhadap kinerja dosen Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang.  Sedangkan untuk populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua dosen fungsional di Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang dengan jumlah 71 orang. Pengambilan Sampel dalam penelitian ini digunakan dengan metode sensus dengan jumlah dosen di Politknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang keseluruhan sebanyak 71 orang. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat dibuat kesimpulan berikut hasil analisis regresi yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara komitmen terhadap kinerja.
