Abstract

Vessel Traffic System  (VTS)  merupakan sistem komunikasi yang dapat memberikan informasi dan pesan bagi kapal. fasilitas yang terdapat dalam VTS yaitu menyediakan layanan traffic organization service yaitu layanan yang memberikan pengaturan pergerakan lalu lintas kapal didalam wilayah Alur Pelayaran Barat Surabaya (APBS) Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Implementasi aturan penggunaan layanan VTS terhadap keselamatan pelayaran di alur pelayaran Surabaya. Manfaat penelitian Penelitian yang akan menghasilkan analisis penggunaaan layanan VTS terhadap keselamatan pelayaran. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah dengan metode kuantitatif jumlah responden 109 dengan hasil penelitian nilai R berganda 0.944 bahwa layanan INS dan alat penunjang navigasi berpengaruh sangat kuat terhadap keselamatan pelayaran.
