MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI NAVIGASI MAHASISWA POLITEKNIK MARITIM NEGERI INDONESIA MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ELECTRONIC CHART AND DISPLAY INFORMATION SYSTEM (ECDIS) SIMULATOR

ECDIS atau Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems telah disepakati sebagai peralatan baru yang diwajibkan diatas kapal-kapal niaga. ECDIS adalah pengalihan penggunaan peta kertas konvensional menjadi peta elektronik dan sistem informasi. Konsep desain pembelajaran ECDIS yang efektif dan terukur perlu dikembangkan sehingga standar kinerja sesuai IMO dapat tercapai dan meningkatkan kompetensi navigasi mahasiswa untuk menunjang keselamatan pelayaran dan keamanan lingkungan maritim. Pendekatan metode penelitian research and development melalui pengembangan desain pembelajaran menggunakan model desain pembelajaran ADDIE. Hasil uji validitas konstruk dan Validitas Isi dalam penelitian mendapatkan persentase kelayakan total media pembelajaran ECDIS sebesar 86,90% dan masuk dalam kategori sangat layak.
