MODEL HUBUNGAN TECHNOSTRESS TERHADAP EMOTIONAL EXHAUSTION PADA MAHASISWA PERGURUAN TINGGI MARITIM SELAMA PEMBELAJARAN ONLINE

Pandemi Covid 19 yang ditetapkan WHO pada bulan Maret 2020 mengubah proses edukasi secara drastis. Dalam sekejap secara radikal proses edukasi offline berubah menjadi online learning. Saat pembelajaran online mahasiswa membutuhkan alat bantu pembelajaran, seperti smartphone, tablet, laptop untuk mengakses informasi dimana dan kapan saja. Akan tetapi kondisi ekonomi saat pandemi turut mempengaruhi daya beli masyarakat atas hardware yang diperlukan sehingga menimbulkan stres tersendiri. Selain itu kekurangsiapan penguasaan teknologi memicu munculnya technostress. Bukan hanya technostress, selama pembelajaran online mahasiswa juga mengalami emotional exhaustion yang ditunjukkan dengan kondisi atau perasaan yang terkuras oleh tugas serta kegiatan yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur pengaruh technostress terhadap emotional exhaustion pada mahasiswa perguruan tinggi maritim di Jawa Tengah. Selain itu dilakukan pengujian tambahan atas data demografi responden yaitu pengaruh kelompok umur; pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan pengaruh jenis kelamin terhadap emotional exhaustion. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 311 mahasiswa dari lima perguruan tinggi maritim di Jawa Tengah, dengan waktu pengambilan data dimulai awal Agustus 2021 sampai dengan akhir September 2021. Simpulan hasil penelitian: (1) Pengaruh technostress terhadap emotional exhaustion sebesar 0,86 yang ditunjukkan Adjusted R2 Square sebesar 86%; (2) Tingkat technostress berpengaruh signifikan terhadap emotional exhaustion; (3) Kelompok umur mahasiswa tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap emotional exhaustion; (4) Tingkat pendidikan mahasiswa berpengaruh positif terhadap emotional exhaustion; (5) Jenis kelamin mahasiswa tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap emotional exhaustion.
