Abstract

Ditemukannya motor bakar siklus Otto tahun 1867, dan tahun 1892 Rudolf Diesel menemukan mesin diesel sebagai mesin penggerak banyak dinikmati manfaatnya sebagai mesin penggerak utama dalam menjalankan kapal

Dalam mengoperasikan dan melayani mesin diesel kapal terdapat beberapa system yang seharusnya mendapat perhatian dan perlakuan dengan baik agar mesin diesel kapal dapat bekerja dengan optimal

Beberapa hal yang seharusnya mendapatkan perhatian dalam pengoperasian dan pelayanan mesin diesel kapal tersebut antara lain adalah system bahan bakar.
